Fees and Charges is a partnership between Commercial Gov and Lyon Local Gov.
Between us we have worked with or for over 90 councils across the UK. We undertake many fees and charges reviews for councils and developed this tool for our internal use before recognising the value it also brings to our clients.
We are intimately involved in supporting councils.
Before setting up Lyon Local Gov, Ken Lyon was Assistant Chief Executive at South Kesteven District Council and has also worked at Birmingham and Nottingham.
David Elverson set up Commercial Gov in 2017 and has provided consultancy support to councils since 2007.
We have been supporting public sector organisations directly since 2016 and indirectly through the people now involved in Commercial Gov, since 2001.
We operate across the Public Sector working extensively with local authorities, central government, the NHS, the MOD and many other public bodies. We also work with governments from other countries supporting their commercial ambitions.
Lyon Local Gov is owned and run by Ken Lyon (former Assistant CEO and Head of Commercialism) who brings 17 years of direct successful experience identifying and delivering change in local government.
At the heart of Lyon LGs mission is to enable Councils to operate sustainably and deliver effective outcomes for the residents and businesses they serve.
